Abstract: The Mobile Advertising System (MAS) is a commercial application which proposed to Mobitel (pvt) Ltd. The system enables mobile subscribers to publish and view short advertisements such as ads about Vehicles, Real estate, Electronics, Job vacancies, Machinery, Services Etc. on their mobile phones. The system operates via Global System for Mobile technology (GSM) network with the help of Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) and Short Message Service (SMS) technologies. Using any GSM compatible mobile phone, mobile subscribers will be able to use this system. MAS will be beneficial in many ways to the involving parties; publisher to most effective and convenient publishing, viewer to observe short Ads on their finger tips any time anywhere and to the service provider to make revenue. MAS is expected to be the initiator of Next generation Advertising.
